UgcVids

Testimonial video production company for honest creator reviews

UgcVids is a testimonial video production company that works on a monthly plan. A matched creator uses your product, then tells the camera what they noticed, in their own words and their own home. We write the structure, edit the video for paid social and include ads usage rights. Every testimonial is performed by a paid creator and the partnership is disclosed.

Who appears in our testimonial videos

We want to be direct about this, because it matters for your brand and your ad accounts. Our testimonial videos are performed by paid creators, not by your existing customers. Each creator receives and uses the product before filming, and speaks about their own experience with it.

When the video runs as an ad or is posted from a creator account, the paid partnership is disclosed as the FTC requires, using the platform's paid partnership or branded content labels and clear wording. We never present a creator as an unpaid customer, never invent a customer story and never script a result the creator has not experienced.

If you want testimonials from your real customers, that is a different project with consent and verification on your side. What we offer is the format that performs on social, made honestly.

Why a person talking to camera persuades

A testimonial removes the distance between brand and buyer. Instead of a polished claim, the viewer hears someone describe a problem they recognize and what changed after trying a product. The format feels like advice from a friend in the feed, which is exactly where buying decisions on TikTok, Instagram Reels and Meta are made.

  • Strong for products whose value is felt over days, such as skincare, supplements, sleep aids or productivity apps
  • Works for retargeting viewers who already know the product but have not bought
  • Handles objections out loud, such as price, texture, taste or setup time

How we structure a testimonial ad

We script the structure, not the feelings. The creator follows the beats in their own words, which keeps the delivery natural.

  1. 1

Hook: a relatable opening line, for example "I did not expect a meal-prep app to change how my week starts"

  2. 2

Problem: what the creator struggled with before, in one or two sentences

  3. 3

Discovery: how they started using the product, shown on camera

  4. 4

Experience: what they noticed, with the product in hand or on screen

  5. 5

Proof in frame: the product in use, close-ups, a routine or a result the creator can genuinely show

  6. 6

Close: who they would recommend it to and a call to action on screen

On Growth and above you get 3 hook options per video and A/B variants that swap the hook or the close using the same footage. Starter videos run up to 30 seconds with 1 hook, so we keep the problem and experience to one line each.

Claims, wording and what we will not script

Testimonials carry claims, and claims carry risk. We write within the limits you set and within what the creator can honestly say.

  • The creator speaks about their own experience, using words like "I noticed" or "for me", not universal promises
  • Health, medical, weight, income and financial claims follow your approved wording only, entered in the must-say and never-say fields of your brief
  • No before and after claims unless the creator actually used the product over that period and you approve the wording
  • No fake urgency, fake scarcity or invented numbers
  • If a claim needs a disclaimer, tell us the exact text and we add it on screen in the edit

We are a production partner, not your legal team. For regulated categories, have your compliance owner review the script, which you approve before filming anyway.

From brief to finished testimonial

The process is the same as every UgcVids order, described in full on how ugc video production works.

  1. You send one brief in the order panel with product, audience, objections to address and claim limits

  2. We match a creator by demographic, niche, style and voice, and you approve them on Growth and above

  3. We write the script beats, hooks and shot list for your approval

  4. The creator uses the product, then films in their own setting

  5. We edit with captions, licensed music and an end card, cut in 9:16, 4:5 and 1:1

  6. You review, comment and we run revision rounds within your plan

First videos arrive within 10 to 14 business days of an approved script, though testimonials that need several days of real use may need the creator to start earlier. We plan that into the timeline in the panel.

Combine testimonials with other formats

Testimonials often work best next to another angle. An unboxing video service cut grabs attention with the reveal, and a testimonial closes with the experience. For software, a saas demo video shows the screen while the creator explains why they kept using it. Each format counts as one video in your monthly allowance, so you can mix them inside the same plan. See the ugc video pricing page for the numbers per plan.

Testimonial video questions

Are these real customers

No. They are paid creators who used your product before filming and disclose the paid partnership. We never present them as unpaid customers.

Can the creator say the product worked for them

Yes, if it is true for them and fits the wording you approve. We do not script results the creator did not experience.

Who approves the script

You do. Every script and set of hooks is approved in the order panel before filming starts.

Can we use the testimonial on our website as well as in ads

Paid ads usage rights are included in every plan. If you want the video on your site or product pages too, say so in the brief so the creator is briefed on placement.
