UgcVids

How UGC video production works at UgcVids, from brief to delivered files

You write one brief in the order panel, approve a script, and download finished videos with paid ads usage rights included. Between those three moments we match the creator, write the hooks, direct the shoot, edit every size and run your revisions. Each video moves through seven statuses you can follow in the panel, and every status says clearly who has the next move.

Seven statuses, one clear owner at each step

Every video in your plan carries one status at a time. When the ball is in your court, the panel tells you what to do and what we need from you. When it is with us, you see what we are working on.

StatusWhat you doWhat we do
BriefFill in product, offer, audience, platforms, must-say and never-say lines, referencesRead the brief, flag gaps in writing, confirm the video types for the month
MatchingApprove a creator from your shortlist on Growth and up, or skip and let us chooseShortlist creators by demographic, niche and on-camera style, then ship product details to the chosen creator
ScriptApprove the script and pick a hook, or leave commentsWrite the script, a shot list and hook options for each video

  1. The brief is the only long thing you write

One brief per month covers every video in that month. It takes about as long as writing a solid product page. The better the brief, the fewer revision rounds you need later.

    • Product and offer, including the price point and any bundle or discount you run in ads
    • Audience in plain words, for example busy parents who meal prep on Sundays
    • Platforms where the videos run, such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, Meta feed or YouTube Shorts
    • Must-say lines, such as a claim your legal team approved
    • Never-say lines, such as medical claims or competitor comparisons
    • Two or three reference videos you like, with a note on what you like about each

If something is missing or risky, we ask in the panel comments before matching starts. There are no kickoff calls.

  2. Matching and scripting run side by side

While we shortlist creators, our writers draft the script. A script for a 30 second video is short, but every line has a job: a hook, a reason to keep watching, proof, and a clear call to action.

    • Starter is auto-matched by our team to the audience in your brief
    • Growth shows a shortlist of 3 creators, Scale a shortlist of 5, and Studio works from a dedicated creator pool
    • Each script comes with a shot list, so the creator knows which takes to record and in what order
    • Starter videos get 1 hook, Growth and up get 3 hook options per video

Nothing gets filmed until you approve the script. That approval starts the delivery clock.

  3. Filming at home, editing by our team

Creators film in their own homes, bathrooms, kitchens and cars on a phone, which is what makes the result look native in a feed. We review the raw takes against the shot list and ask for reshoots when a take misses the brief, before you ever see a cut.

Editing is done by our editors, not by the creator. Every finished video gets burned-in captions sized for a muted feed, licensed music, an end card with your offer, and exports in 9:16, 4:5 and 1:1. On Growth and up we also cut A/B variants from the same footage: an alternate hook, an alternate call to action, or both.

  4. Review rounds that stay inside the plan

You review each cut in the panel and leave time-stamped comments. A revision round covers edit changes: a different hook take, a tighter cut, a caption fix, a swapped end card, another music track.

A full reshoot is a new video, because it needs a new creator session.

    • Starter includes 1 revision round per video
    • Growth and Scale include 2 revision rounds per video
    • Studio includes 3 revision rounds per video
  5. Delivered files come with ads usage rights

When you approve the final cut, the status moves to delivered and the files sit in the panel ready to download. Paid ads usage on all platforms is included in every plan, with no separate licensing fee and no extra contract per creator. Creators are paid for their work and disclose the paid partnership as the FTC requires.

Scale and Studio also get the raw footage, so your team can recut new versions later. Details on formats and testing live on our ugc ads page.

Turnaround and the rules of the monthly plan

First videos arrive within 10 to 14 business days of an approved script. Studio gets priority turnaround. A few plain rules keep the plan predictable for both sides.

  • Your plan sets a fixed number of finished videos per month, from 1 on Starter to 40 on Studio
  • Unused videos do not roll over to the next month
  • Deleting an order never frees a slot, because the slot is used when production starts
  • Everything happens in the panel with written briefs and comments, with no calls or meetings
  • Help is available by email at [email protected] and in the order panel
  • You can cancel any time and keep access to the end of the paid period, payments are final as our refund policy explains
