UgcVids

Facebook video ad maker for Reels, Stories and the feed

Give UgcVids the link to your product page and get back a vertical video ad built for Facebook and Instagram placements. The AI writes the hook and script, an AI voice reads it, captions carry the message for muted viewers, and you upload one MP4 to your ad account.

What a Facebook advert maker should hand you

Most Facebook advert makers give you a template and a blank canvas. You still have to find the angle, write the lines, pick images, time the text and export the right size. The slow part was never the export button. It was deciding what to say in the first two seconds and making it readable on a phone held at arm's length.

UgcVids starts one step earlier. The AI reads your product page, writes three hooks that each take a different angle, and drafts a voiceover script timed to roughly 15 to 25 seconds. It then builds the ad from your own product images with gentle zoom and pan motion, burns in captions, adds an end card with the product name and renders a 1080x1920 MP4. What you download is a finished Facebook video ad, not a project file.

You can also open the ad with an AI avatar who says the hook to camera for 8 seconds before the product scenes start. That format is covered on our AI spokesperson video page.

Making a Facebook video ad step by step

  1. 1

    Paste your product link

Use the public URL of the product page in your store. The AI picks up the product name, price when listed, key features and usable images.

  2. 2

    Choose a hook

Read the three openings and pick the one that suits your audience. Every hook comes with the full script and captions that follow it.

  3. 3

    Render the ad

Pick a voiceover ad, or an avatar ad if your plan still has avatar ads left this month, and render the vertical video.

  4. 4

    Upload to your ad account

Download the MP4 and add it to a new ad in your Facebook and Instagram ad manager, then check the placement previews.

How one vertical file behaves across placements

The file we export is 9:16 at 1080x1920. Here is how that single file is typically shown in the main placements, so you know what to check in the preview.

PlacementHow the vertical file is shownWhat to watch
Facebook and Instagram ReelsFull screen, the native shape for this placementKeep text out of the bottom area where the caption, buttons and profile name sit
StoriesFull screen between organic storiesLeave room at the top for the profile bar and at the bottom for the call to action
Mobile feedUsually cropped to a shorter frame until tappedThe hook and product must sit in the center of the frame
Desktop feedSmaller, often with bars on the sidesCaptions need to stay large enough to read

Because one file serves several placements, the preview step matters. Open each placement preview in the ad setup and confirm that the captions and the product are clear of the interface and inside the feed crop. Placement layouts change from time to time, so repeat the check when a new placement appears.

Captions for people scrolling with sound off

Plenty of people scroll Facebook in places where they can not play audio, on a train, in an office, in bed next to someone sleeping. If the hook lives only in the voice, those viewers never hear it. That is why every UgcVids ad has captions burned into the picture, synced with the AI voice so the words appear as they are spoken.

Burned-in captions also protect you from automatic subtitles that misspell your product name or appear in a different spot on each placement. They show the same way everywhere, and the hook is readable within the first second even on a small phone.

One tip from the scripting side. Write hooks that make sense as text alone. "This lamp clips onto any shelf" works muted. "Listen to this" does not. The generator favors the first kind for exactly this reason.

Sample Facebook ad hooks for a made-up product

The product here is fictional, a pet hair remover roller that needs no refills.

  • "Your couch is not gray. It is covered in cat hair. Watch one pass of this roller."
  • "Sticky lint sheets run out at the worst moment. This roller empties into the bin and keeps going."
  • "Before guests arrive, this is the two minute job that makes the living room look clean."

Each of these reads well as a caption, points at something the product images can show, and speaks to a pet owner without naming any competitor. The script that follows explains how the roller works and ends with a short line pointing to the shop.

Limits worth knowing first

We export one shape, vertical 9:16. If your campaign needs a true square or landscape version for a specific placement, you would make that crop elsewhere. The voice and script are in English. The scenes come from the images on your product page, so a page with several sharp photos from different angles gives a stronger ad than a page with a single thumbnail.

UgcVids does not publish to your ad account for you, set budgets or manage campaigns. It makes the creative. Targeting, bidding and reporting stay in your ad manager, which is where they belong. If your ads use AI avatars, the platform may show an AI label, and you should follow its current disclosure rules.

Plans are monthly or yearly. Starter is $49 a month with 20 ads, Growth $110 with 60 ads and Agency $249 with 150 ads, and yearly billing halves those prices. Avatar ads are part of each total, 2, 5 and 12 respectively. Details are on the pricing page, and the homepage has sample ads to watch.

Questions about making Facebook video ads

What size should a Facebook video ad be

For Reels and Stories a vertical 9:16 file at 1080x1920 is the standard, and that is exactly what UgcVids exports. In the mobile feed, a vertical video is usually shown in a shorter 4:5 frame, so keep the key message in the middle of the picture. Use the placement preview in the ad setup to confirm the hook and the product stay visible in that crop.

Can I use one file for Reels and the feed

Yes. Upload the 1080x1920 MP4 once and let it serve Reels, Stories and feed placements. Check the preview for each placement in the ad setup before you publish, because each one frames the video slightly differently.

Do Facebook video ads need captions

They do not strictly need them, but a lot of people watch with sound off, so an ad without text loses them in the first second. Every UgcVids ad has captions burned into the video that follow the voiceover word for word.

Is this an official Facebook tool

No. UgcVids is an independent ad maker. You render the video in your UgcVids account, download the MP4 and upload it in the ad manager of your Facebook and Instagram account like any other video.

Do I need to label AI avatars in Facebook ads

The platform may apply or ask for an AI label on ads with realistic synthetic people, and some categories have stricter rules. Read the current advertising policy and use the AI disclosure option in the ad setup when it is offered.
